Legal Question in Insurance Law in Michigan
I had a house fire on mar. 9th while noonne was at home the fire report said it was an undetermined electrical arc the insurance co has not yet paid my claim have had 2 separate investigation regarding the cause of the fire both came back as undetermined now im being told that i have to go before a lawyer obtained by insurance co to make a statement under oath but im being asked for bank statements phone records etc. for the last few years which seems to me that the insurance co is trying to attack my character and find a way to avoid paying my claim is this normal procedure or should i try and obtain some legal counsel
