Court wants to dismiss a case with prejudice. What does that mean

It means the case is over and done with. It means plaintiff can't try again. Plaintiff means "plaintiff on the issue,"-- this could be a defendant who has brought a counter-claim after having been sued.
Great if you're a defendant; not so good if you're a plaintiff.
Dismissal without prejudice means "without preventing the plaintiff from trying again."
It will usually also exclude cases which COULD have been brought under the same facts, so a DWP is dangerous for people who believe they have been wronged, but represent themselves under the wrong legal theory.
