Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Michigan
Harboring a runaway
My adopted daughter ran away from home and is living with her biological aunt. The aunt is refusing to send my daughter home (she is 17). Can I file charges against the aunt for harboring my daughter? Is there anything I can do regarding my daughter running away from home? Should I just let her go? Should I contact CPS to let them know what is going on? Please help me!
