Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Michigan

what would happen if a 16 year old teenager in michigan ran away to virginia, for she was being abused yet law enforcement could do nothing for the mother denied any of it....what would happen to the the teen and the person she ran to?

If a 16-year old has run from Michigan to Virginia, she is technically still in the custody of her Michigan family, and the person who is harboring her may have serious legal problems. If the child has in fact been abused, the best recommendation I can make is to contact the local department of social services for assistance.
