Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

Hello my name is Angel I would like to know am I entitled to my job back or back pay for the years I missed.

I was an employee at Childrens Hospital of Michigan for 9 years until they terminated my employment for calling in I'll, while I was in the hospital with a severe asthma attack. I had FMLA as part of my job. Which insured me for my medical condition. I have talked to several over the phone hospital lawyers who always just state we're working on this. I have been out of work now from Childrens for 4 years now. They did me so wrong. What should I do. I want my job back or my money for all those years I could have been working.

If the hospital lawyers were in any way responsible for causing you to postpone filing a civil rights complaint with either the EEOC or the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, you may still be able to do so. Otherwise you've waited too long and cannot.
