Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan
We have an ear lab that comes to our place of employment every year to give us a mandatory ear test. I refused to let the tech. stick that rubber thing in my ears and look inside. He said he would not give me the test unless he checked my ear canal. I did not refuse to be tested. In fact I asked three times to just give me the test. He would not. So the company sent me to the company doctor for my hearig test along with others that were off that day.My superviser wants disiplinary action taken for refusing to let the tech.jam that thing in my ears.I feel its a violation to my body.Is this legal? Thank you.

As long as it is evenly applied to all employees, it is legal. You must decide how important this job is to you. Good luck. www.kliszlaw.com. Tim Klisz
