Employment/Child Custody Question
Hi
I joined my current job as IT consultant almost 2 yrs back. At that time, the resume on basis of which I got interview call, had some experience shown which was not true.
The dates shown for that experience were before I came to US.
Almost 6 months back from today this company hired me as full time employee as they liked my work. I got separated from my husband 2 months back because of having some issues with him and his family. Now he threats me that he'll call in my company and tell my employer about the misrepresentation of my experience in my resume and I would lose my job and can be sent to jail etc. Now I have 2 questions-
Question 1) What the worst my employer can do with me if they come to know about the misrepresentation of my resume (which happened almost 2 yrs back and though they had hired me on liking my work)?
Question 2) Can my husband use this thing against me if we go to court for custody of my 9 months old baby?(till today he takes our baby to his place 3 times a week and we are not filing for divorce yet.)

Re: Employment/Child Custody Question
Tell your idiot husband that, if you lose your job, he'll have to pay more child support. You won't go to jail for lying on your resume although you can be fired for it. If you're doing the job, your employer will have to go to the time and expense to replace you and likely wont.
