Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

Ex-employee replacing me

A month back I was hired by a company ,they gave me training and I was working very hard to be good at it. Now few days back they asked me to leave just b'cos the ex-employee wants the job back. Do you think what they did was right? I would really like to get some of your opinion on this.

You can be fired for any reason or no reason, --that is the bottom line with at-will employment.

Nonetheless, a company can be taken to task when it has violated an established workplace right,--such as the right to be free from inappropriate discrimination in hiring/promotion/firing, or from whistleblower retaliation, or breach of a union agreement, etc..
