Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan
I gave my 90 day termination notice according to the contract stating, "Any and all
notices, demands, requests, and other communications required or
permitted to be served or given to either party by the other shall be
delivered personally or by United States mail, first class postage,
prepaid, certified or registered mail, return receipt requested"
Now two weeks remain and my company emails me a termination notice. They did not mail me anything or handed me personally any notice. Is that acceptable, and can the company do that?
Please help me. Thank you.

They did it, so they can. The question is what you are looking for as an answer. You quit? If so, they don't want you for the final two weeks? I think it wouldn't really make a difference, because they could just orally terminate you. It doesn't require a written document. Feel free to follow up at kliszlaw.com if this doesn't help.
