Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

My question is regarding an appeal to unemployment in michigan.

I was denied unemployment recently due to the fact that I voluntarily quit from my employer. However, the reason that I quit I believe justifies my deciding to leave. My GM was working some of the employees overtime and not paying them their overtime. He would offer deals such as letting them go home for the day and still paying them regular pay for the day, or sometimes if it was just a half hour here or there he would change the hours on the clock to show that you didn't work a half hour over. When he confronted me with an offer I declined. I stated to him that I would just like to be paid my hours that I worked and that if he wanted to send me home he didn't have to pay me for the time that I wasn't there. I wanted no part in any of it. It angered him and he began to treat me differently. Yell at me for everything, tell me I had to stay later at the last min knowing I had a babysitter at home and needed advance notice. He even asked me to email him my hours one day and in my email I stated to him that I didn't want to go into overtime that week if he wasn't going to pay it to me. He replied back saying never to email him again that this was not his venue of communicating with other employees which is not true. I have saved every email I have from him and I have over 15. Also when I got a copy of everyones hours one pay period I noticed that he had changed my hours manually. When another manager and I confronted him regarding the issue he claimed that the time clock was broken and that he had to put them in and he didn't know what my hours were yet I work the same hours everyday. He clocked me out two hours early and since I was the ONLY employee in the building at the time and I have proof that the next employee clocked in at 7am and I was in overtime by two hours that week. He began yelling at me and telling me that he didn't have to explain himself to me. He then began to bash my reputation in front of the other (new) manager claiming that I was a problem employee and that other employees had claimed that I was a gossiper and that I made them uncomfortable. I asked him why I was never confronted and why I was recently given a new title with a two dollar an hour raise? He claimed that he didn't feel comfortable confronting me either. At this point he asked me if I was gonna be able to even work there I said no and handed him my two week notice. He said that he accepted my two week notice as of that day and not to come back to work anymore. He also stated that he would pay me for my last two weeks and give me 10hrs overtime to make up for the confusion. I asked him to put it in writing and he said no. The other manager made sure that I was paid for my last two weeks like stated however I was never paid for my missing overtime. I don't have a record of exactly how many hours I wasn't paid and frankly I could care less at this moment. Yet I feel like I had a justifiable reason to quit. Im not sure what points I should bring up on my appeal letter. I don't want to make it a book.
