resigning from a job that pays only commission

i am a independent travel consultant and want to resign from a host agency but have many booking on their book. will i be entitled to those commission when i resign. i can do the work on those bookings but i want to make sure i get the commission from them

Depends on your written contract if you have one. If not, you will likely have to sue to collect for your commissions on a theory of breach of implied contract and/or unjust enrichment.

If you are on good terms with the company, try to get a separation agreement in writing to address these commissions before you leave.
