Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan
I was terminated from my position at my former employer 8 months ago. My father is acquaintances with someone who did some consulting work at my former position, and he stated why I was terminated and gave extensive details. He said that my former employer is telling everybody in a certain radius the reason that I had been fired. Is this legal? Can I file a lawsuit or at least a cease and desist?
