theft in the work place

i was accused of stealing money from my job with no proof of the theft and fired for stealing is thier a way to sue the employer for firing me without proper proof of the theft

What is "proper proof of the theft"? If you are implying that the firing was a pretext for some impermissible reason, that's one thing.

Otherwise, employment in MI is generally "at will," meaning you can be fired for any reason,--or no reason.

Which means that you could have been fired even on suspicion of theft, provided it wasn't a cover for racial, religious, gender, etc. discrimination.
