Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan
I was working 46 to 60 hours a week, and only got paid straight time. I thought she was allowed to do this. But found out she wasn't, when 2 other employees turned her in and got all their overtime. And I believe she received a fine. My question is this sir, all my overtime occured last summer and the whole year before this. Can I still go after her for my unpaid overtime, or is it too late?? I still work for her, but now she won't even give me 40 hours !! I would really appreciate an answer if you have time. I don't know what to do here.....thank you for your time.

I believe you are well within the time limits to file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. You also gain the protection of the Michigan Whistleblower's Act as she cannot take any adverse action against you for filing the complaint. If she does, you have only 90 days from that occurrence to file a Whistleblower lawsuit.
