Wrongful Dismissal
What type of recourse is available if someone was ''let go'' while they were on vacation, deposited a small severance amount and not even told about it? This was found out by a co-worker calling to inform person about. Call made to office manager to question, she wouldn't take call all week. This vacation, along with any other time off, was approved well in advance with docs to prove.

You are an at will employee unless you have a specific contract of employment. Firing is illegal only if it violates a civil rights law; ie- sex, race, religion, age, disability, etc. Contact www.kliszlaw.com for more information. Tim Klisz
