Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Apartment Complex
My complex started a new security rule. They will have a security guard posted at entrance and all visitors must: Show valid picture id, tell what apartment they are visiting and how long they will be visiting. Is this legal? If I don't agree can I break my lease?

What could be wrong about this policy? It sounds like a very safe way of maintaining a complex. This would certainly not be grounds to break a lease. Www.kliszlaw.com
