Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

Hi. My boyfriend got caught cheating in our apartment by me and that not packed his stuff and left by choice. He refused to help pay any rent when both our names on the lease. I gave 600 to go pay December which he never did and therefore we got evicted and I had no place to go. But he didn't care. Now we have to pay the apartment so what can I do . I feel like all this his fault and I'm upset o have to pay nearly 4000. Mad everytome o ask him to come up with. Agreement it gets injured

You can sue your ex-boyfriend for the portion of the rent that he was supposed to pay or cross-claim sue him in a case if you have already been sued.
