Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Breaking a lease
I was wondering can you break a 4 year lease, due to financial problems, without being held responsiable for the remaining 3 1/2 years?

Likely not depending on the terms of your lease, unless you are filing bankruptcy.

Is it commercial or residential? You have various issues relating to breaking a lease, and the landlord has various issues of mitigation of damages. I can advise and assist you in this matter.
