Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Me and my daughter (17) have been living with my father for approximately 3 years in his condo. He has dementia and we have been caring for him. My siblings decided this past week to have him committed to an institution and now I am being told that I must evacuate the premises in 4 days. I have not paid any rent as the condo is owned outright by my father. One of my siblings is on the condo's title. Do I have any rights at all?

Yes, you are a tenant and they must use the courts to evict you. This can be accomplished in a few months, so you should make a plan for your future living.
