Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
foreclosure and our lease
I got a letter from an attorney stating that they are representing a bank and we are no longer to make any payments to our landlord. We are to make them directly to the bank. Does this mean that the house is being foreclosed on? If the property is being foreclosed on what are my options regarding my lease agreement?

Re: foreclosure and our lease
I would be very careful doing anything in this matter unless you have a new lease or a substitution with a new landlord. Very risky. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
