Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
our landlord lied to us about our court date, they also accepted a payment the day before the court date. they have continued to accept payments on our back rent, but keep threatening to "throw us out". can they do this?

They can threaten all they want. Evictions only happen through the court. Get an attorney if you can afford one. Tim Klisz
