Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
lease addendume- after move in
I signed a lease agreement last month and moved into the property, and a few days ago, the landlord decided to have the realtor send an addendum to add some things. I was looking for a way out of this agreement, and I know that a contract has to be accepted entirely. Being as though this addemdum is now a part of the lease agreement, by not signing, am I leagally allowed to leave the propery without it being considered as a breach?

The addendum is not part of the agreement if you did not sign it in most cases. You and your landlord are bound to the agreement you signed. If you did not sign the addendum, you are not bound to those provisions, based on the facts you have provided.
