Re: lease agreement/withholding rent

whoever signed the actual lease agreement is the person responsible for paying rent, etc.

if you are withholding rent to due to unsafe or uninhabitable conditions, you are required to place the rent in an escrow account and notify the landlord of the problems, and where the money is being withheld, and why.

if you need legal assistance, please contact me.

thanks.
