Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
no lease
i live in michigan and have a house for sale i let someone move in with the agreement to keep the house presentable and show when need be, she has not paid me a dime for rent or had utilities put in her name she has lived there since dec20,06
and now owes me 2025.00 i was told i have to go thru the eviction process i can't figure out why i cant
kick them out if there is NO lease. please help me

Because that is the law. Eviction requirements are not only for those landlords who hold written leases. You have a month-to-month verbal lease and, thus, are subject to landlord/tenant laws.
