Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

Liquor License

Only my company name and my name appear on the liquor license, my landlord wants me to sign a management agreement with the person buying my business, can he force me to let them use the liquor license that is in my name? I am willing to transfer the license but not to let someone else use it because I am legally still responsible?

Re: Liquor License

You are prudent in your thinking. Your landlord would not have any control over your business decisions. You are merely required to abide the legal terms of your commercial lease.
