Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
I live in a mobile home park in Michigan. When I moved onto the site 7 years ago we were given a plot with clear ground behind it. The park now wish to charge us $5.oo per month for the clear ground behind us as we do not back onto other trailers. Is this permissable to suddenly decide that I am going to be charged for not backing onto other trailers? There are about 10 homes that back onto this open ground.

If you have a lot lease with the monthly rent spelled out, then they can't raise the rent.
If your lot lease has expired, they can raise the rent.
