How long does a landlord have to return my deposit?

You must provide your new address within 4 days of vacating the property. The Landlord must either return the deposit or send you a written list of damages within 30 days. You must respond to the written list of damages and if you and the Landlord do not agree, then the Landlord must file a suit against you claiming all or part of your deposit for the damages or utilities that you owe.
