Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

I am a Michigan Landlord. My tentants are two months behind in the rent. I served the tenant personally the MI for DC100 demand for possessions on Feb 21, 2012. The form states 7 days notice. I have received notice the utilities had been turned off and automatically put in my name effective 2/22/2012. I assume that have run out on me. When can I go into my rental to verify?
