Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

notice to quit

i already asked about the legal steps to eviction,but i forgot to mention it is all verbal... i have no written lease,, does that make a difference in the eviction process? also,this apt. is affilated with the job i took here but due to being over worked with no days off, had to quit, now i have no income and no where to go and the owner is telling i must move or she will have my stuff removed

An oral lease is no different. You still have a right to go to court first before being evicted. If they throw your stuff out, you can sue them for self-help eviction, which is illegal. www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
