Paying lot rent on a mobile home
I live in a mobile home park and want to move but cant sell the house. I dont want to pay the lot rent which is paid every month. I will continue to pay the mortage on the house but want to leave the house where it is. They tell me i must pay the lot rent, is there any way to get out of it?

The first document you should look at is the lease for the lot between you and the park. If you are leaving the home in place they will expect, and correctly, that you pay for the home remaining in the park. Any provision for you to stop payment would be in the lot lease between you and the park.
