Residental Lease Agreement
If the tenant breaks a one year lease three months into the lease do they get there security deposit back?

generally, the lease calls for one years worth of rent owed, to be paid in monthly installments. An early termination, without agreement of the landlord, makes the tenant liable for the remaining months, less any rent the landlord can receive by rerenting. Security deposit can be applied to rent owed, so I would argue the landlord is entitled to the security and probably more.
