Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

I had a roomate she could not afford it and got two months behind I asked her to leave she is living elsewhere but has not finished cleaning up her mess or picking up her stuff she has taken keys that I did not give her and comes bac at her lesuire when I am at work and helps herself to what ever she wants I am scared to leave the house alone now what can I do

You can sue her for the rent that she didn't pay, that you had to pay....assuming she is also on the lease. Generally, hitting a recalcitrant room mate with a law suit for back rent is enough to get them to focus on getting their stuff out, and giving back the keys. You will probably have to sign a "release" for her, stating that you accept full liability for 100% of the rent, in exchange for whatever it is that you want her to do.
