Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
I signed a lease for June 2008-June 2009, at the end of June 2009 my landlord never asked me to sign a new lease, but allowed me to keep living in the house under the assumption I was staying there for another year. I moved out in October 2009, would I be held to any kind of lease seeing as I never signed a new one. He kept all deposits, and there was no termination fee in the original June 2008-June 2009 lease.
