sqauters rights

hi, i have had someone staying at my apartment for 2 1/2 months and now i want them to leave. do they have any rights to stay there?

Yes. They are now a tenant of yours with a month-to-month lease. You can evict them with thirty days notice or if they fail to pay rent, 7 days notice.
