Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

My step daughter needed a place to stay back in april 2009. Now she causes nothing but problems in our home and is destructive and vulgar towards her mother and me. We want her to move out and she said she does not have to, and we can't make her. She is 27 years old and she said that we have to take her to court and have her evicted. We do not charge her any money, this was only supposed to be temporary, now she owns us, and she is controlling our household. She wants to see us break up so she can control her mother. She will not co-operate with me at all. Our house has already been broken into by some of her friends. What can we do?

Your daughter is very correct. You will need to take all the legal steps to have her evicted. No problem, just hoops to jump through. Please visit me at www.kliszlaw.com to get started. Tim Klisz
