Touchy situation

Hi. I'm thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend. He's been living we me for the past few months. He's not on the lease. I pay the rent every month. We agreed that we would give $200.00 to help out. To date, he's only given me partial payments. I want him out. What's the process? Does he have rights?

You would have to file eviction papers through the court, just like you would with anyone else, and give him 30 days to get out. Doesn't matter that your agreement is only verbal, or that he hasn't paid entirely - you still have to follow the eviction rules.

You would have to evict him through the court system.
