Writ of restitution
Working through the district court, I obtained a writ of restitution against a tenant who has not paid rent for over 6 months. The tenant has filed an appeal in the circuit court. Where does this leave me? How long can a tenant, who has obviously not made rental payments, keep appealing his eviction?
The tenant now claims that he owns the property and has produced a fraudulent and forged land contract. Should this matter be taken to criminal court?

You need to file a motion for an expedited hearing and to dismiss the case based in the circuit court. Furthermore, you need to contact the prosecutor's office and advise them of the fraudulent land contract.
