When is attorney conduct considered harassment?

I have received multiple threats from my former

husbands lawyer regarding ''taking the necessary legal

action'' in the event that I don't accomodate my former

husbands ever so often changing demands regarding

the settlement terms. Numerous

My former spouse is on felony probation as a result of

spousal abuse, and is

prohibited from making contact with me directly or third

party. He writes letters and his lawyer attempts to

adjust the verbarge to create the illusion that she wrote

them. Recently I received a letter stating very clearly the

lawyer is writing at the request of my former spouse. It

containsnon violent threats and spews hatred. It goes

way beyond necessary financial issues.

How is harassment defined in regard to attorney

contact?

If it is impermissible, file a grievance with the Attorney Grievance Commission. However, I would suggest that you tell me exactly what was said that you find objectionable. I'll tell you if it is grievable. Bill Stern
