Injury settlement information

This is a workers comp case. My lawyer told me about 2 months ago that there was a settlement offer. The offer

was for weekly benefits, which is what I wanted. The

lawyer wanted me to wait for a cash offer. I told him

about a week later that I wasn't interested in a cash

offer. He has since used various delaying tactics, such as

having me apply for disability benefits that have no bearing on the settlement, taking depositions etc. It

is costing me over 200 dollars a week, and now he says

that he never told me that there was a settlement offer,

that I misunderstood him. Is there any thing that can be

done to ascertain if there was an offer or not?

The only way to find out if there was an offer would be to have a "regular" down at the bureau contact the defense lawyer and ask. I may be able to help you. However, the reputation of your lawyer is important in considering what is going on with your case.
