Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan

License plate

I bought a car from Patrick Auto Sales in Warren, MI in June 2005. Numerous times I have called them to try to get a permanant license plate and instead the car salesman Tom Oliver, makes up some excuse to why he doesn't have it and he gives me a 15 day temporary plate and registration (he has done this at least 4 times). Now there phone is shut off and I have an expired temporary plate, no registration and I don't even think the car is my name. Is there anything I can do? Are they breaking any laws?

Re: License plate

Yes, the car dealership is breaking the law. You need to pursue a complaint against them in court, and with the secretary of state. If you would like some help, feel free to contact me at 248-851-2020.
