Ripped-Off?

I gave an attorney $1500.00 in October 2000 to upgrade my child visitation rights. He said, ''I'll get back with you in 2 weeks''. I've called 9 times and he won't even call back. I get excuse after excuse from somebody in his office. I haven't got $1500.00 to get another attorney. What can I do? It's the end of February now.

Write him a letter. Keep a copy. Tell him if he doesn't provide you with a solid update of your case within 5 days you will file a complaint with the MI Bar Association. If he doesn't respond, file it.
