Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan
Workplace bullying
My husband is being bullied in his workplace, after over 30 years of loyal and competent service. For example, he hasn't had a day off since last March. Not ONE. He even gets yelled at sometimes if he takes an hour break for lunch or whatever -- and told to come back to work immediately to take care of some problem that isn't even in his job description. In short, he is expected to do everyone else's job besides his own, too. How can anyone be expected to live their whole lives at work, without even one day off? The thing is, they want to bring in someone younger and cheaper, so they (especially one person) are doing everything in their power to make my husband's life miserable. What can he do? Does he have any legal recourse? Please help; we are desperate!

Re: Workplace bullying
Your husband has no legal recourse unless he is fired and replaced by a younger person (in general) due to his age. There is more to unions than simply higher wages. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
