Unemployment Mediation
If I am going to see a judge for unemployment mediation to determine if I was eligible for benefits and on the day of the mediation my former employers attorney contacted me to find out why I asked for a stay is that allowable?

Yes. You should not have contacted the mediator without also contacting the other side. The mediator should have told you that.
