Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan

Breast Augmentation gone wrong

I had gone into a plastic surgeon for breast aug. opperation #1...surgury done to correct & make breasts same size (1 breast 40% larger than other). opperation #2 removal of infected breast implant. after being told that is was not likely an infection, no preventive antibiotics given. opp #3 replace removed implant & try again to make same size..opp #4 try to make same size again, went in for follow up and still 1 breast 30-35% larger than other. All of what should have been done the first time around as requested and paid for is still not done. Four surgical procedures and results still not accomplished. All done in less than one years time. What do I do? I do have pictures available as well.

Re: Breast Augmentation gone wrong

Your case has to be evaluated by a plastic surgeon. This cannot be accomplished without a review of all the records. I will be glad to assist you in having this done. If I do not feel I can help, I will attempt to find you the proper member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers to represent you. However, keep in mind that obtaining these records takes some time, and it takes time to obtain a plastic surgeon willing to review the records and render an opinion to a patient. Therefore, although there is a 2 year statute of limitations allowing you to bring a case within 2 years of the malpractice, this time runs very fast and you may already have a major problem with the statute of limitations, considering that you have had 4 surgeries. Therefore, you cannot afford to delay. I will be in trial most of this week but feel free to call me and we can get together on the weekend, if necessary. William S. Stern
