Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan
In December of 2007, I had breast augmentation. The surgery went well but I developed a Capsular Contracture around one of the breasts which the doctor tried to squeeze to correct. Over the years, the tissue had gotten hard and deformed. About 4 years ago I had an ultra sound and it was discovered one implant was above the muscle and one was under the muscle. I would like to have the scarring removed and the implant replaced. Because of the difference in implant placements, is there an opportunity to have the original surgeon pay for the new surgery.
