Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan
malpractice
is there any compensation for pain and suffering for me or my family that had to take care of me during what i would call just plain medial malpractice. i cosulted with a law firm that was doing what i thought was the malpractice and the social security disability when it came down to the court and such the disability case was won but then they told me i didnt have a medical malpractice case which i still think i do or at least some form of compensation for the loss of livelihood and my ability to be even close to the man i was. my girlfrien of 11 years also had toendure the grief of all that has happened and supporting me for 2 years before i received social security . i still feel that the hospitols and doctors and nurses did not do what could have been done. the case was a knee injury that resulted in a dvt i was admitted to a hospitol that administered blood thinners but i was not told they couldnt do anything for me until it already resulted in a pe i was then transported toa another hospitol where a green field filter was placed i was then released after 5 days i was never referred or was told i needed any follow up care which then reslulted in the pe blowing out the lowere lobe which then had to be removed

I think I understand what you were saying. When you say the lower lobe was blown out, the lower lobe of what? Your case would be based on a failure to treat in a timely manner. Did the first hospital refer you to the second hospital? Was it because they did not have staff with proper expertise? Give me more details. William S. Stern 248-353-9400
