I've spent thousands of $$ on major dental issues....cash/check. This was in 2004. I've had problems with the dental bridges almost from the start. I got only grins and smiles from the dentist. Lately I've been in so much pain that I sought out a different dentist (this one was recommended by friends and family)

It was no surprise to be told that the bridges were never were placed properly (which is why I kept going back to my first dentist)

Today, I got the shock of my life when I found out that decay was so bad that it required the cutting away of one of those bridges and had to have a back tooth extracted. Now, there is no where to anchor a replacement bridge (which I cannot afford anyway)

I asked the dentist if this would have happened if the bridge was placed and fitted properly and he said, ''No...this would not have happened.'' I was also told the same thing by the oral surgeon.

Since I paid cash for the previous dental work...my thinking is there was no accountabilty to an insurance company...making it easier to be lackadaisical in proper care.

It was suggested (and I totally agree) to contact an attorney regarding this issue.

Which type of law takes this kind of case with no fee charged unless a win?
