I had my skin torn during a mammogram, what should i do?

First of all, it is most likely not malpractice. Malpractice means that a doctor or health care professional did something far below the behavior of another physician with similar training and experience under similar circumstances. The fact that your skin "tore" does not make it malpractice. Second, a malpractice case is extremely expensive to pursue. A lawyer has to lay out many thousands and thousands of dollars to hire good experts, pay doctors for depositions, obtain medical records, etc. A jury in your case is not likely to give enough money to pay such costs and therefore, no lawyer would take such a case.
