Re: Do i have to list a entry level separation as a discharge
It is NOT a discharge - it is a "separation." It depends on two things, first, how is the question worded, e.g., "Have you ever served in the military?" Generally you must answer all employment related questions truthfully, so you would have to say "yes." If it then asks, "What type of discharge did you receive?" you can truthfully say, "None. I received an UNCHARACTERIZED "entry level separation" because I did not meet the enlistment requirements."
However, please check with a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction - Michigan - who handles "employment" law as your State law will control this and I am not [nor representing that I am] licensed to practice in your state. There might be specific provisions that add to your rights.
Good luck.
