Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan
I got into a car accident about two months ago. Me and a guy across from me were backing out of a parking space when we got into the accident he took full responsibility for it. Saying that it was his fault. I filed a claim and he said that he would pay to fix the damages. Now he is saying that his wife got wiplash and he is not paying. My dad is contacting a attorney. I was wondering what would happen from here.

If you can prove it was the other person's fault, and your damages are less than $5,000, sue in small claims court in the district where the guy lives. You do not need a lawyer.
